Enjoy the tranquility of the countryside and the outdoors near the city, get to know the coffee culture from cultivation to the cup, with a personalized tour of approximately 2 hours through ecological trails and beautiful landscapes, at 50 minutes from Bogotá D.C. and 10 minutes from Choachí, Cundinamarca.
COFFEE EXPERIENCE
The personalized tour begins with an ecological path that reaches the highest part of the coffee plantation, which is guided by the owner of the farm, in this journey you can see some animals such as dogs, goats, cows, geese, chickens, birds , squirrels, butterflies, among others.
When you reach the end of the path, you can appreciate the coffee cultivation of the La Esmeralda farm where its variety and the different cares that the coffee requires are known. Continue step by step through the process, from harvesting to drying, after the walk visitors take a light snack and later know the processing plant, from threshing the grain to roasting and grinding. Finally, a basic coffee tasting exercise is done.
